Are you unsure of the type of concrete flooring you want in your home? At Back2NewFinishes, we have various flooring options to satisfy your needs.

Microcement

Microcement is a seamless surface that requires no demolition, no grinding, and no chemical removal to apply. It can be applied to many types of existing surfaces in your home such as: stone, wood, tile, concrete, vinyl, or epoxy. Microcement is very modern and decorative. It can be applied to floors, walls, patio decks, countertops and pool decks.

Polished Concrete

Concrete polishing is a process that involves grinding and smoothing the surface of a concrete floor to create a smooth, shiny finish. It is often used to enhance the appearance of a concrete floor and to make it easier to maintain. The process typically involves using specialized equipment, such as diamond-tipped abrasive disks, to grind down the surface of the concrete and remove any imperfections or roughness. The abrasive disks are gradually decreased in grit size until the desired level of polish is achieved.

Industrial Concrete Coatings

Concrete coatings include flakes, quartz, or solid colors on a finished floor. Each process is done with a significant amount of precision to accomplish a high durable floor with non slip additive. Flakes come in various colors and sizes to give the floor a textured finish. Quartz are small sand-like features that help the floor give a more texturized look. Solid colors is a process where the epoxy coating is dyed and poured on the floor.

This process is commonly used in commercial, industrial, and residential settings because of their durability, versatility, and attractive finish.

Stained Concrete

Stained concrete refers to a decorative technique where color is applied to concrete surfaces to create unique and visually appealing designs. This process involves using acid-based or water-based dyes to penetrate the concrete and react with its minerals, resulting in rich, variegated tones and patterns.

This process is grinds down the existing concrete to create a polished finish then coated with a layer of protection that helps protect against water, chemical and UV rays damage to ensure the longevity of your floors. Sealed concrete can help prevent staining, cracking and deterioration. Sealed concrete is a cost-effective way to extend the life of your concrete.

Concrete Resurfacing

Concrete resurfacing is a process that takes your previously polished concrete and refinishes it to make it look like new again. Repairs to the floor can be completed with this process to make floors all look the same.

This process is done by repairing and fixing cracks or refilling holes, and grinding down any surfaces that are too high to level the concrete.

Pool Deck Coatings

A pool deck coating is a protective layer applied to the surface of a pool deck to enhance its durability, safety, and aesthetics. The primary purpose of a pool deck coating is to provide a slip-resistant surface, especially when wet, to reduce the risk of slips and falls. Additionally, these coatings can improve the appearance of the pool deck by adding color, texture, and decorative elements, complementing the overall design of your pool area.
